"During my visit to the day clinic under..."

About: Castle Hill Hospital

What I liked

During my visit to the day clinic under the care of the consultant the day surgery and all of the staff were I have to say exceptionally professional and could not of been more helpful. I was one of the first into and out of surgery and like most patients was awake before I had realised i had gone to sleep. Complaint: The only issue I had was that I was ready to go home at 11am but due to the pharmacy not being able to supply my drugs I in fact did not get to leave until 3 hours later. This is quite unacceptable and must not be left unheard. Whats the point of putting so much effort in on the conveyer if at the end everything falls off it because understaffing or whatever unknown challenges to the patients. I was very tired after the General Anasthetic and should of been home in bed instead I was left clogging up the waiting room but more importantly the over crammed car park.

Please deal with this complaint at your earliest convenience

Thank you
