What I liked

it was very clean inside.

not a thing out of place.

staff were pleasent to speak to.

What could be improved

the knowledge the staff had of the patients they were dealing with!

I have been going to Burton Hospital for most of my life with an ongoing medical condition, a metabolic disease.

I have a very huge file that the hospital has on record, this file should be passed to whoever is dealing with me at the time, the hospital knew I had this certain appointment and could have managed to obtain my files before seeing me to gain the knowledge of why I was referred to them, instead I spent most of my time in the certain area of the hospital explaining all about my condition and why I had to have my eyes checked every 2 years with them!

I am not happy I have been going to this hospital for most of my life, with a file that should have more than enough information for staff to look at and I still have to explain every detail to them when I go to have routine check ups etc with them!

Anything else?

Staff should make sure they know why their patient is there and they should at least look at their files before seeing the patient so they can have quicker appointments without any delays and staff will know why their patients have either been reffered to them or why they are there in the first place!
