What I liked
Space , gardens
What could be improved
Hardly any contact with nurses, they were always busy taking a break.
They considered patients a nuisance, and visitors were not much better
Anything else?
Physical treatment was adequate, but patients who could walk were prevented from doing so, and lost their ability to walk because of this.
The conservatory was filled with equipment, which meant it could not be used as a conservatory at all, which was a shame because that meant they could not see the garden from where they were. For a conservatory to be used as a storeroom was a great pity.
My wife was a patient and also an old friend and both of them could walk when they entered this facility. and lost this ability whilst in this care?. the old friend is now in a bupa care home, and is enccouraged to walk, my wife went into care and died about six months later.
My wife liked animal programs, but when I requested the TV channel be changed, I was told that the staff wanted the channel to remain as it was one of their programs, None of the patients were consulted as to which program was being shown.
