About: Maybole Day Hospital / Physiotherapy

What a contrast in professionalism I've experienced. Since my disastrous experience in a different hospital, I was referred again to physiotherapy, this time at Maybole. This time I was listened to, made to feel as an equal, and had a bespoke exercise regime tailored to my pain and ability, I'm still benefiting from it now. Returning to my first experience, I have since been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and an MRI scan has shown evidence of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, I'm waiting on a DEXA scan for confirmation. the MRI also highlighted a fracture of a vertebrae, causing the excruciating pain which followed. It's a great shame our NHS doesn't have more like the true professional in Maybole. In the spirit of fairness and balance, I shall end by focusing on the positive experience there.
