What I liked

I was in ENT ward for major surgery. The care, courtesy, competence shown by all ENT and intensive care doctors and nursing staff toward both myself and my wife, was outstanding.

What could be improved

It took the hospital pharmacy 6 hours to dispense a 2 day supply of 2 simple meds, both of which were available on the ward drug trolleys (I checked) from where they would have continued to be dispensed had I not gone home.

Anything else?

Paperwork from the hospital to my GP surgery did not seem to happen unless I chased it.
