"The care for a terminally ill friend was..."

About: Lincoln County Hospital

What I liked

The care for a terminally ill friend was ver good indeed. As he died, nurses doctors and Chaplain were very caring towards the man's wife and to the patient too. I cannot speak too highly of the attention we all received on that traumatic occasion. From the receptionists at A & E to the staff there, the porters who moved my friend from ward to ward and the staff on the Emergency Admissions Ward treated with us with dignity and showed compassion at that distressing time. Thanks to everyone concerned.

What could be improved

The long trek from A & E to the admissions ward was a little frustrating and it could have been easier had the two wards been closer.

Anything else?

I have personally been an patient and an out patient on numerous occasions and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I have received from Consultants to lower down the scale workers. This is an excellent hospital and I appreciate all that has been done for me.
