"ICS Hawthorne Hse, and Leeds York Foundation Trust"

Was sent to this day hospital by the CMHT Dr with a referral of mixed states bipolar relapse and depression with psychosis.

After being there for about one hour the Consultant torn up the prescription from the other Dr and said "lets wait and see" I was sent there for a reason and that being my mental health had deteriorated and was significantly different from my usual self. It had begun slowly in Jan/Feb and by March I was unwell. I had not had psychiatric meds for over 12 months. After about 7 days in the Hawthorne House I was sent back to the CMHT unmedicated and with a new diagnosis of moving house related disorder! Appalling.!

Obviously, as I had inadequate care and treatment I was still unwell. By the end of April my CMHT Dr talked me into taking anti psychotics as I was hearing commanding voices but I was sent back to that Hawthorne House having recently started this medication.

This time I saw a Dr for ten minutes once and because I was feeling suicidal they stated all of the Consultants from my previous trust of over 10 years were incompetent and I had in fact at the age of 50 plus suddenly according to them developed

Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. If I had been a male this label would not have been forced on me.I do not have this and this is now on all of my NHS notes and I am unmedicated.Their notes then go onto state that their service is of no use to me, that I should be put onto a green team as I don't have a mental illness.I was told to go in if I wanted, or not. This is when I was so depressed that I was suicidal, hearing voices, not sleeping, walking for hours at night and planning suicide. After about 10 days there I was discharged and their notes read that I am "care seeking" In other words my feeling suicidal and acting on this had nothing to do with my agitated depression but, I was attention seeking! Disgusting! I told them at my discharge meeting I was still feeling suicidal that the medication I had started was helping with some things but I was still feeling low in mood.I was discharged with no support whatsoever.I phoned this service for help that same evening and told them that I planned to do something and was stood by open water. They chose to ignore this and not intervene at all as a direct result of that diagnosis.Their notes state that as I had showed such actions and statements whilst with them, then basically it was nothing new so they ignored me.I told them it was planned.I acted on this the police who showed to me more compassion than this mental health service then took me to the Beklin Centre where again as a direct result of that diagnosis I was sent home .

Disgusting care and treatment. When I was put in hospital a few days later and stayed for a few weeks that wrong diagnosis followed me around. On leaving

I was supposed to go back to that Hawthorne House and my notes state that Consultant refused permission for this because he claimed the service was of no use to me.

Vile staff.
