My wife went to A&E on a Wednesday evening in August with abdominal pains. After 7 hours during which she was attended twice by different people who took her urine sample twice, she was asked to come back the next day.

Next day she was made to wait for 10 hours after which they commented that her ultrasound scan and blood test revealed nothing . So on Thursday evening she was asked to go back and take Ibuprofen.

Exasperated, we went to a private hospital on Friday and the Gastroenterology surgeon took one look at her and immediately operated on her to prevent the severely inflammed appendix bursting. Only because i had private cover is my wife alive.
