What I liked
I was admitted to A+E on 29th July. The doctor who examined me, was reassuring, calm and took time to explain his thoughts about my condition. I was then transferred to MAU During my time there I was treated with care and concern and I wish to thank the team. again the doctor took time to explain various procedures I was undergoing, whilst treating me with respect and listening to my questions. ~She was always positive which is what patients need to hear.
I have now been transferred to out patients and my first visit was this morning. I was truly thankful for the time the registrar and nurse spent with me, again outlning treatments, but also listening to my concerns.
Too often the NHS is portayed in a negative manner, I can only say that my experience has been totally positive.
Many, many thanks
Carolyn
