"Caroline Thorpe Ward"

About: North Devon District Hospital

My 5 month old baby suddenly became very ill whilst we were visiting Devon on holiday. I cannot begin to explain how fantastic everyone on this ward was to make us feel reassured and at ease. The paramedics were amazing too. We were able to go home after afew days and they are arranging care with our local hospital and GP. Absolutely incredible from start to finish.

Dear Mollie

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. When a baby is taken ill at any time it is frightening, and even more so when you are away from home.

I am so pleased the care your baby received from the paramedics and the staff on Caroline Thorpe Ward was incredible. I hope that your baby’s health is now improving and that the good care you received in North Devon continues at your local hospital.

I have forwarded on your kind comments about your recent experience to the Ward Sister of Caroline Thorpe Ward where they will be warmly received and shared with the relevant staff involved in your baby’s care.

Kind regards

Jayne
