"Positive patient care"

I have had problems with my metal health and have been in a relapse since early this year, on numerous occasions I have self harmed and needed hospital treatment for this. I was very embarrassed and scared of being judged for this, however on each visit to accident and emergency I have been treated with respect, empathy and genuine care, I would like to thank all the members of staff within the department who have been so genuine with me on each visit and really understood me and what had happened. I am so very grateful for the care they provide within accident and emergency as I completely understand how tough it may be for the staff, I had a bump in my journey earlier this week where I had to stay in the observation unit, I felt so welcomed and safe as the staf were so friendly especially Staff Nurse Nicola, HCA joules and Staff nurse lorraine.
