What I liked
Well I sadly have to say that i was addmitted due an OD as i suffer from depression I drove quite a distance to end it all meaning my own life, anyway you don't want to hear that.
I found A&E staff very understanding and caring and did not judge me,
but i did find that when i was in AAU that some staff were very caring especially the night staff of mental health issues
On a postitive note some of the staff on days, student nurses nursing assistants and some nursing staff and the night staff were very caring and did listen and understood.
What could be improved

but found some staff on days quite negitive towards mental health i was told because i was being sick that it was my own doing because of the overdose, i felt I was being judge slightly as they did not know me, the sickness was due to acid reflex that i suffer from and which i take meds for normal, also for the nights i was there they had very little of my medication because i normal take 15 types of medication plus asthma medication, I thought this was quite poor for a big hopsital .
Also what i found really upsetting was hearing what was being said about me to a medical staff, near other patients , send her back to her home town to sort to her because of my mental health problems, yes i know i tried to take my life but people should not think your like the next person who done it.
Anyway i am in my home town, where Mental Health is understood I am getting the care i needed, the foundation trust that deal with Mental health have a great understanding of Mental health and personality disorders and very supportive.
Anything else?
That staff have training in concerning about mental health issues and the inpact this can have on an individual, the use of empathy .
