"I was brought in by Ambulance Boat after..."

What I liked

I was brought in by Ambulance Boat after fracturing my wrist while on holiday on Bryher. I was anxious and in pain and it helped enormously that both paramedic and hospital staff were reassuring without being patronising. They couldn't X-ray me but they confirmed the diagnosis and stabilised me. I was only there for a short time, as the Air Ambulance was able to get me to Truro that evening, but I have remembered the kindness and calm efficiency of all the staff.
