What could be improved

I think this hospital needs to look at its appointments system. I come once a year to have a check-up, and the appointment for the next year comes soon after the previous appointment. My 2010 appointment was changed four times. My 2011 appointment (in July) has just been put back a week. I expect it may need to be changed again before July rolls around.

Each of these changes involves administrative and postage costs. Would it not make sense to wait until around three months before the appointment was due and then to try to fix a date? And when there are linked appointments (e.g. for a fields test and a consultant) and both are changed, could the letters not come out in the same envelope?

Anything else?

Because my comments relate to the administration procedures rather than the clinical treatment, I haven't commented on the latter.
