"Terrible experience, not listened to!"

Day of csection, staff were wonderful really helpful and csection went great! The next three nights were not so bad except I told the midwives my night light didn't work, was offered no alternative and had to feed and change my newborn in the dark! Was told maintenance person would come to change bulb, this never happened. Next to me was a very loud couple who would talk all night, when I informed midwife nothing was done, so no sleep for me! On day two post my csection I took my dressing off as advised, and immediately realised something didn't feel or look right, the wound was slightly open. Staff told me this was normal and not to worry, this day I also waited for hours for day staff to give me pain relief which I didn't get until the night staff started, I understand wards are very busy but two days post csection and waiting hours is not acceptable. Was discharged after myself and my partner expressing concern about my wound which was still open about 2-3cm and still bleeding. Next day at home noticed the wound was very open and bleeding, called rowan ward and explained if this happened I was told to come back in. They refused to see me despite what I was telling them, and informed me a community midwife would be round and would call in half an hour, I had no phone call and two hours later a midwife arrived who didn't even look at my wound and just told me to go see a practice nurse at my doctors to get it seen to. Next day wound again Even more open! Went to doctors who were very concerned about my wound, and got me accepted by one/gyne team, but to report to a and e and they would tell me where to go. Went to a and e waited two hours with a new born to be told to just go to rowan ward (what I said the day before!!) told I needed an operation under general anaesthetic the next day to investigate wound and restitch. Told I needed IV antibiotics as a precaution, for 48 hours. After the operation I needed to go to the toilet but felt very light headed so staff assisted me, upon getting back to my room staff left me with my baby in my arms on my own my call bell was on the floor behind the locker and they moved my table with my phone and water to the other side of my room. Two hours later my mum turned up and sorted me and my baby out. Three days later I was suppose to be discharged waited all day to be told I needed 72 hours of antibiotics, communication is shocking between doctors and midwives. Fast forward another two nights and I was finally allowed to go home, except I waited all day for a doctor to come who didn't turn up after they promised half an hour tops, so I self discharged. my first two weeks with my son was ruined and disputes the listen to me campaign posters around the ward I was not listened to at all. Some midwives were exceptional at there jobs and made a very scary stay at least a bit bareable, one in particular was wonderful but one midwife l was very rude and definitely does not follow 6c's of nursing!
