About: The Royal London Hospital For Integrated Medicine

What I liked

It is calm, welcoming, cares about its patients and staff by providing a great environment so different from the usual hospital one: plants, good tea shop with a choice of teas, good cafe, I find it a treat to wait in the pharmacy and look at the fabulous products on sale. I am treated here as a whole by a very lovely and personable doctor who understands and listens. After the first session I had hardly any symptoms from the chemotherapy I was having for about four weeks, and after that they were much less than before. My emotional wellbeing is much better with the homeopathic remedies and I am sleeping better than I have for years. I am fairly convinced I would not have managed the cancer / chemo / getting back to normal life so well without this lifeline. When others said there was nothing that could help, homeopathy could.

What could be improved

The queue at reception can be very slow moving - I think I missed my appointment time and had a longer than normal wait. My first visit was disorganised as I was told to wait in a certain area for the nurse but after a long wait I asked why noone had seen me and was told they didn't know I was waiting. logo
