About: Woodend Hospital / Elective Orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted  as a day patient to receive a surgical procedure, at Ward 10 of Woodend Hospital.

The level of care I received from all staff was excellent, and in particular the staff nurse Joseph who looked after me. I was reassured at all times by everyone treating me, and they made sure I understood and was completely clear about the procedure at all times.

From the staff in the theatre, the nursing staff on the ward, to the cleaners and porters, everyone was very friendly and professional, and I would like to pass on my gratitude.

Thank you for taking the time to compliment the staff in ward 10, theatre staff, cleaners and porters via the care opinion website.

It is fantastic to hear that level of care was excellent in ward 10. Joseph will be delighted to hear that you mentioned him in person. The staff work very hard to deliver person centred care and from your response this is very evident given that you felt reassured at all times as you state the staff were friendly, professional and you were completely informed at all stages of your care on the ward.

All the staff you have mentioned will be notified of this wonderful complement and am sure they will be very grateful and appreciative that you have taken the time to write this on the care opinion website.
