I received a letter with my address on it but with someone else's name, it seemed to fit with information I was expecting to do with diabetic retinopathy checking. I phoned the central healthcentre clinic to explain the letter had the wrong name on it and could they send one with the correct details so that both they and I knew we all had the right details and there would be no confusion.
The clinic said I needed to speak to my GP, having no reason to doubt this I duly went to my GP surgery to iron out the confusion. I was referred back to the clinic.
In my conversations with the clinic I was informed I had not responded to letters they had issued and and also missed appointments. They don't seem to understand I have not responded or attended because I've not received the letters they claim to have sent. The one letter I did receive had the wrong name on it.
I'm not going back and forth anymore. Why can't the clinic sort this out?
