What I liked
My consultant and all the staff let me know how I was progressing and were anxious to make me feel relaxed and happy. They had a real sense of humour which made me laugh a lot in spite of being ill and were happy when the humour was turned on them. They listened to me at all times and reassured me as necessary. When I had to return in August 2010 I had no qualms about it and was welcomed back as if I was a friend. My consultant and his team ensured I was relaxed and reassured throughout my procedures and I was glad of their humour. I had no choice but to be relaxed in spite of myself.
What could be improved
I don't think anything can be improved, except that I would like a choice of decaffienated coffee on the trolley as, until I entered Harefield, I have not drunk coffee with caffiene for 21 years!
Anything else?
Harefield does not consist of individual members of staff, they are all part of a big team, working together for the good of the patients and the hospital
