"Friendly, helpful doctors and nurses who..."

About: Nuffield Health, Cambridge Hospital

What I liked

Friendly, helpful doctors and nurses who treated me like an individual.

Good handover between different staff and meticulous attention to transfer of information between doctors and nurses involved in my care.

Regular checks before and after procedure to ensure there were no complications (so frequent that I joked that I wasn't going to get to read more than a page of my book after all !)

I was allowed to leave just as soon as I was ready - no hanging around for paperwork etc.

Good food.

What could be improved

Hospital is currently being modernised but there was very little disruption - just something to be aware of for visitors/patients.

Not a huge number of parking spaces onsite but the hospital is on the park-and-ride bus route from Trumpington into Cambridge.
