About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

Yesterday we attended royal cornwall hospital after my husband trapped his finger in the car door, partially amputating it!. From arrival in a&e his plan of care was made clear and he was kept in overnight for surgery. He was told that his surgery would happen at some point over night and he can go home soon after. True to their words his surgery happened early hours and i picked him up in the morning.

All the staff were very friendly and put us at ease, we were away on a short break and ended up spending a day in hospital!.

The hospital was busy due to all the accident prone holiday makers but nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Thank you to everyone involved in his care.
