What I liked

My life was saved by Castle Hill's cardio dept's staff, I was admitted as quickly as possible, had a week of tests and observation due to a blood disorder which prevented my operation, my operation for a new aortic heart valve was a success due mainly to the skill of my Consultant and the staff at the hospital. I am lucky to be alive and thank God and the Consultant every day. The nursing staff were very caring and thorough and their care was of the highest order. I would also add that the follow up from castle hill has been very good.

What could be improved

Healthwise nothing could be improved upon but my wife had so much trouble finding a parking spot. I understand that more new parking area is being constructed.

The follow up by the Grimsby cardiac staff could be improved as my first appointment was cancelled and rearranged much later. However, the cardiac rehabilitation was excellent and their continuing support is a lifeline.
