About: East Surrey Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I have had a previous operation for cataract removal in a private hospital. I would rate them as 7 out of 10. The surgeon had a patter but I did not feel it was specific to me. even got injected in the wrong eye (still can't believe I let that happen)

East surrey team were great, and worked as a team in front of the 7 patients having the operation. nothing was too much trouble tea was made for patient who went to the loo, it was cold when she returned and it was immediately replaced without asking. The surgeon Mr Dhital was approachable. informative and interacted with me through the procedure. Well done Limpsfield Ward at East Surrey Hospital

Am I right in thinking the injection in the wrong eye was at your previous operation and not at East Surrey Hospital? If it was with us please could you contact me so that I can look into the matter?

Correct Barbara, the wrong eye injection was at the private hospital
