What I liked

My mum had a brief stay at the community hospital for a short while before she passed away at the JR. She had been through several hospital admissions at both the JR and Horton prior to this. Her stay at the community hospital was the first time she was treated with respect and kindness. Staff also took the time to listen to my concerns regarding my mum's health. My mum was given excellent care in a caring environment - I cannot thank the staff enough for helping to make my mum's last few days happy. At the time I wrote to the local MP and to the hospital to express my gratitude for the excellent care standards on offer.

What could be improved

This hospital needs a brand new purpose built building to allow staff to do their job more easily. Bicester's increasing, ageing population dictates the need to have this facility in place as soon as possible.
