"Clinic 5"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital / Rheumatology

Yesterday I was clinic 5 and was seen by one of the Drs . They seemed to bein a rush . I had a student dr I'm with them which there was no introduction at all . Went in to side room to examine my joints and they passed my had to the student dr and said "you don't mind do you?" . Truth I felt I didn't have much choice as they were pressing down on my knee causing me to be in discomfort . It was rushed appointment. In which I felt I couldn't put my questions forward

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very sorry to hear that you were not verbally asked if a student doctor could be involved in your consultation, that you felt rushed and did not have an opportunity to ask questions. This is not something we would advocate. If you are happy to do so please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), on the below contact details and they will investigate this further.
