What I liked

I was taken into A&E where the staff were absolutely great. Despite being a very busy department, I was treated with dignity, respect and professionalism all the time.

Once I was stable, I was transferred to the Acute Care ward, where I received the same high level of care. The staff were kind, caring, friendly and - during a time which was personally distressing and worrying - the nurses found time to make me feel as relaxed as possible.

I think they all do a smashing job - well done L&D!

What could be improved

The food could be improved - but when you are not well, it is not the most important thing. Other than that, I think the treatment and care was first class.
