Hi,
Attended ward three after attending GP.
On arrival I was met by a rather cold reception from staff nurse who advised I should take a seat in the waiting room and someone would come and see me. Over a hour passed until another nurse came and apologised for delay. (she was unaware I had arrived).
I was attended by the second nurse, a lovely CSW and doctor. I had multiple tests which thankfully were negative.
I would like to thank this nurse, Doctor and CSW for their first class care and attention. Pity the staff nurse showed little compassion in my opinion or advised staff of my arrival.
Good and compassionate communication is paramount within the NHS.
Many thanks to the other staff for making me feel valued.
