"Big thumbs up"

I had a face-to-face consultation this morning with a "new to our practice" GP Registrar, Chris Boynton. He was excellent: - courteous, friendly, listened, empathised in a caring way, and was just generally refreshing in his approach. An ordinary, nice chap who couldn't have done more to be helpful and covered all angles. Apparently he's only at St Nicholas' Surgery for a year - what a shame. We need more like him. He seems like he's from the same mould as Dr Heaton so he will definitely never have a short waiting list in his career.

Incidentally Dr Heaton spoke to me on the phone last night and was his usual friendly and efficient self.

A big thumbs up to both but especially Mr Boynton who, early in his career, I'm sure will welcome some encouragement as he can be sure of a few knock backs in the future with our new world of 'empowered patients'!
