"A clean, modern hospital and all staff..."

About: Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre(Nations Healthcare)

What I liked

A clean, modern hospital and all staff made sure that I was made fully aware of everything that was going to happen to me during my visit. I was worried about the operation but they put me at ease.

Every staff member from start to finish couldn't do enough for me, whether nurse, theatre staff or surgeon.

The surgery went well, seemingly text book keyhole removal, only shame was that I'd liked to have seen the offending gallstones.

Pain was constantly monitored and pain relief administered and given to take home.

Even the hospital sandwich and coffee was good when I felt like eating.

A welcome follow up call made by the nurse practisioner the next day double checked that I'd had a good night and gave me further advice about looking after wounds, etc.

I couldn't have wished for better treatment, well done Gateway G staff, you are a credit to NHS!

What could be improved

Nothing at all.

Anything else?

Going over the bumpy bits on the walkway to the car park, in a wheel chair after gall bladder surgery, was not the greatest thing ever!
