"The Dirrans Centre has given me a piece of my old self back."

First I would like to say that being around people at the Dirrans that are going through the the same things or worse has made me see I am not alone which has given me confidence. The staff are thoughtful and friendly and as far as I can see can't do enough for you.

The Dirrans Centre has given me a piece of my old self back I have met new people in a safe environment. It has allowed me to be able to get out of the house, where I was feeling more and more isolated from the life I used to have.

During my time I have improved upon my skills using my tablet computer as I realise that technology is here to stay and I want to be part of this. The groups I have attended at the Dirrans Centre have made this possible.

I also attend the wellbeing group at the Dirrans which has shown me the skills needed in order to let me relax and not to worry about the little things as much as I used to, these skills will stay with me.

The healthy U group that the Dirrans run on a Wednesday afternoon has been great for me too, it allows me to get exercise and learn about healthy eating among people that want the same outcome.
