"My daughter (6yrs) was admitted to..."

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead)

What I liked

My daughter (6yrs) was admitted to peanut ward for an operation on her hand. I was upset as we were referred from my local hospital & this hospital is 60 miles away from home. I was very scared & worried about her having a general anethestic but the staff were fantastic. They made a horrible situation very bearable. We were kept informed all the way through the procedure. The ward was great, they had loads of toys & DVD’s to keep her occupied when we were waiting around (which wasn’t for too long anyway) I couldn’t have asked for more. If i had to go back to hospital for any reason this would be my 1st choice.
