What I liked
At the time i was in Bispham it was when the bad weather was about and the hospital was full, with mainly elderly fracture cases. I myself had been transferred from Blackpool Victoria after a heart by-pass. Being many miles from home (i live in Ipswich) and had been in Victoria Hospital since Jan.2nd. I cannot fault the attention and care that i got the entire time i was in Bispham recovering.I found all staff very friendly, with the nursing staff proficient in their care of the patients. At times they had to be firm with their requests to patients in regards to turning up for meal times and for doing the things that would speed up their recovery,as many seemed happy just to sit about. All aspects of my physio and recuperation was explained and carried out clearly, with as little discumfort to myself as possible.Meal times did come round a bit quickly, but with the choice of a varied menu you could select what and how much you fancied.Again many thanks for speeding me on my way to a complete recovery.
What could be improved
In my case very little, the only thing being i would have liked a second pillow.
