"I had to have an operation and was in..."

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

What I liked

I had to have an operation and was in for the week end, I believe all the staff on the ward I was in worked very hard to keep us all comfortable.

What could be improved

The only thing I would inprove on was the food , Now it comes pre packed in foil trays not very nice at all, bring the old fashion way. Cooking from scratch

Anything else?

The parking was very expensive as well, You could not have to pay for dropping somebody off or picking them up.

Thank you for your comments. We moved to cook freeze meals as unfortunately our kitchens were not modern enough to continue cooking all food on site, and our site is so diverse that it was not possible to transport it safely or effectively. Since then, patient feedback has been generally very good and external assessments of our nutritional value and choice have also been positive. I am sorry your experience did not refelct this. Car parking at Musgrove is now run by a private company whio invested £10m in 2006 to imrpove access, quality and safety. Price increases are controlled, and we have increased the number of free drop off points in the last few months. Thank you again for taking the time to comment - I hope you are now fully recovered.
