What I liked

The Hilton Main Ward I happened to be sited in was very clean and a most pleasant room to be in. The staff were very cheerful and friendly but very efficient which tends to be a rarity nowadays. They gave the patients the impression that nothing was too much trouble, even when they were visibly rushed off their feet.

What could be improved

After giving it a great deal of thought, I cannot think of how they could improve the service - it's literally that good.

Anything else?

In the current climate and especially when one considers the problems besetting the Trust it was one of the most pleasant surprises I have experienced. From my very first pre-admissions visit to my post-operative home visits the service given to me was unbelievably good and I couldn't possibly praise it too highly. Other hospitals should study how Cannock operate if they too want to achieve success.
