"I have had quite a year having had two..."

About: Lancaster Hospital

What I liked

I have had quite a year having had two major operations in the RLI,I have then spent time on respite careto recover in the BMI.

It is a very relaxed and excellent way to get over the trauma.I will not describe the ops but it is fair to say they dealt with the opposite end from the mouth!

The nursing staff are phenomenal. Not only are they friendly they also are not scared to tell you when you are over doing it.It is good you are not allowed to name individuals as that would be unfair as they all work to make me well!

The food is excellent all the soups are home made and they cater for dietary restrictions.I am even allowed a glass of wine to help the recovery.

The Mrsa test does take 3 days so if you have been in an NHS hospital you will be quarantined until the results come, but you can have visitors.

to be ill, this is as good as anywhere.

I am sure you will feel the same gratitude to the team here as I have
