"Leaving a terrible (league tables) ..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

What I liked

Leaving a terrible (league tables) driven hospital.

What could be improved

To prevent the spread of hospital viri c diff etc the management at East Surrey should stop Agency staff from working at a different hospitals and then turning up at ESH for a shift within 24 hours of leaving the other hospital. In other words Agency staff should have a break of at least 24 hours between changing work locations.

The staff who interact with patients should not be allowed to travel via public transport or arrive for duty in their uniform (own reansport) i.e. do not travel to the hospital in uniform. The uniform should be kept at East Surrey Hospital only. This would apply to agency staff as well. Do not wear your uniform outside of the hospital.
