Attended at 9. 30 this morning with my 16yr old son to the dermatology ward for an outpatient appointment. Very impressed with the service. We were taken early, the consultant, Dr Balasubramaniam was so lovely and knowledgeable. Bloods taken by a fabulous lady, Florence, who put my son at ease and explained everything that was happening currently and all about his future treatment. Thanks to both for a very positive experience.

I am delighted to hear that you and your son had such a positive experience and that both the medical and nursing staff you encountered provided excellent care and attention. Some patients can be apprehensive and worry about having to attend the hospital and have their bloods taken especially if they have never had this done before so I am glad that the nurse was able to give reassurance and make it less scary for him.

I appreciate you taking the time to post your comments and sharing your story. I will certainly pass this onto the staff mentioned and also share with the wider team as it is always helps team morale when we get it right for patients and their families.
