I attended the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Department with my son for an assessment. On our arrival to reception, the staff members were polite and punctual with our appointment.
We were seen by two OTs and a student OT who was observing. The OTs were called Laura and Debbie, the student was called Lyndsey. They made us feel welcome and their pleasant demeanour instantly put my child at ease so he didn't feel like he was being assessed and lessened our anxiety levels.
The senior OT, Laura, was clearly very advanced in her field and identified my son's needs straight away. Laura was well prepared with handouts that would support and assist my son both at home and in school. The team also provided the minutes of the session to me within 48 hours and all other services currently involved in my child's development.
I was really impressed overall with all of the team and am very thankful for their care and attention during our visit.
