About: Ayrshire Central Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I returned for a follow up visit to McDonald Suite, Crosshouse Hospital and was met again by Michelle and team of lovely smiling nurses.

After my last consultation I kind of knew what to expect, although this time I had an additional procedure done during this appointment.

Each step was fully explained to me, and I was given as much time as I needed without any pressure, albeit these nurses are so very busy.

They are so patient, reassuring and very professional throughout the examination, which is carried out gently and with as little discomfort as possible.

I am really grateful to have these ladies looking after me, and putting my mind at rest whilst undergoing any treatment.

Thank you once again.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

On behalf of the team, may I thank you for your lovely post. It is so heartening to hear that the procedure was as good as possible and the staff were so reassuring. It is always a bit scary having a test done, it makes such a difference to understand what is happening and being given the time you need must help immeasurably.
