"Day Surgery Unit, Nottingham City Hospital"

I was a patient at the Day Surgery Unit of Nottingham City Hospital in June for breast cancer surgery.

I was overwhelmed by the care and attention given to me by every member of staff who supported me on that day: reception staff, porter, anaesthetist, surgeon, nurses and registrar. At each stage everything was explained clearly to me and I was also given the opportunity to ask questions so I fully understood each part of the procedure.

The kind, friendly, patient, reassuring approach of all staff made the experience so much easier for me. I really appreciated it and wanted to acknowledge this.
