"Emergency Gynaecology/Elsdon Ward"

I accompanied a friend to the emergency gynaecology unit/Elsdon Ward this morning.

I was very impressed by the compassion and communication skills of all involved. From initial consultations, to the actual consultation with the consultants and an HCA. I commend the services provided and the professionalism of all staff with whom we came into contact.

I must make a special mention oone of the consultants did everything in their power to reassure my friend and their excellent communication skills meant the visit was far less traumatic for her than may have been the case.

I know that Basildon Hospital frequently receives negative reviews but this was far from my experience today, the treatment received was far superior to many private consultations/hospitals I have attended
