"After collapsing several times ..."

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

What I liked

After collapsing several times and my heart rate increasing rappidly, my GP arranged to have me admitted to the Coronary Care Unit. Nurses were there ready to admit me straight away which was great. I've been in hospital 7 times since October 2009 and always had a bit of a wait before I was seen to by anyone. The doctor saw me very quickly as well.

The nurses and health care assistants were fantastic. Soooo friendly, respectful and actually took pride in their work. I can't remember what the nurses names were, but every single one of them did an amazing job and they should be rewarded for the hard work that they do. I was even a little bit sad when I got discharged.

Enjoyed the food - been missing it loads since I got home. You should start doing take-aways

What could be improved

I couldn't think of anything that could be improved other than one of the doctors - he was lovely and wanted to help but he came off a little bit patronising. Other than that, brilliant. I can't believe it was ever even discussed to close the hospital!!!

Anything else?

I've been a patient at Hartlepool hospital twice now since October last year and i've never had any issues at all.
