PALS, staff at least they treat you with respect and dignity!!!
What could be improved
the nurses could have customer service training and make improvements on their people skills whether they are a patient or relative people have the right to ask questions and expect some answers. To be spoken too in an inappropriate manner is very unprofessional!!!
I telephoned and asked about the care of a relative and was told that I was not the next of kin. Spoken too rather abruptly by a nurse and told that they could not discuss any information about the patient. i told her that I was from the area, which made no difference. Told that I would have to wait until the patient contacted me. Was not advised about the password policy was told nothing. Had to make a complaint to PALS who had advised me on the password policy and stated that the nurse should have informed you of this at the time I called.
Once provided with a password, information I was provided with was very vague. Phoned a few times each time spoken too abruptly. Not very happy at all
