My wife had an operation on the 4th of June 2010 on ward 16. From the start of the operation she was consulted and kept informed all the way through the whole procedure. The nurses were with out question professional and my wife and I treated with the utmost diginty and respect. they were simply fantastic at helping me, they kept informed always whilst caring for my ill wife. I would recommend this hosiptal to everyone I speak to. It is the best NHS hospital I have seen in the whole of the North East. If I was ever ill myslef (heaven forbid) My first choice would be this hopsital. If there was ever a blueprint of perfection then this would be it. all of the other hoispital fade under the such high stadandard that this hospital has set.. A true success story. Keep up the fantastic work..
