"Person centred approach contributed to my recovery"

I was in Day surgery wishaw general for exploratory laparoscopy yesterday. The nursing staff throughout the whole unit were extremely efficient and professional.

I was apprehensive about a general anaesthetic due to a previous experience. The female anaesthetist listened to all of my concerns and took these into account whilst planning my anaesthetic. In doing so, her person centred approach has contributed to a better recovery for me as a patient. I cannot thank her and the day surgery enough.
