"Brilliant stay at Harpenden for recovery after..."

The day after my operation at a local hospital I was asked if I wanted to go home as there were no beds. I was transferred to Spire Harpenden that night, as soon as they could get a transfer vehicle, and the relief after my horrendous journey was immense. We were welcomed at the door and I was taken up to the ward where the staff were welcoming and for the rest of my stay all the staff were very pleasant, kind and helpful. We even had a small party with my family for our 50th Wedding anniversary in the room . I was kept fully informed of everything that was happening and the consultant visited every day and also the resident registrar. I would certainly recommend the Spire/Harpenden, and have done so.
