The "Choose and Book" online - make it work or just give Tel. No.

I hated being mucked about trying to book on line when there is no such service.

I received my 2 pages of "Choose and Book" info. with a logon and password from my GP and all the relevent points highlighted. Brilliant..

I logged on to the site, to book an appointment and ................. nothing happened.

Oh, I forgot, neither the phone or the online "service" is available outside office hours. How rediculous is this!

Furthermore, don't believe the hype, as there is actually no Online Booking facility only the 0845 Tel. No. during working hours. No change there then!

I've tried this online service before to no effect. You would have thought that the Hospital would be obliged to have this up and running after all these years!
