What could be improved

Everything could have been improved. Perhaps if the nurses cared for patients and were a little more thorough, they would notice when something was medically wrong rather than a patient being discharged with a horredously painful Urinary Tract infection and Thrush in the mouth!!!

I'm so angry with Grimsby hospital. My Grandma has been unwell since her stroke about 5 months ago, she was previously discharged before she should have been and had to be re-admitted a month later. This time, she was discharged Monday night, by Tuesday night had to go into a Nursing home and within 24 hours they had investigated and found Thrush in the mouth and a severe Urinary Tract infection. She must have been in agony but they don't give a stuff. The staff were lazy, I had to ask them to change the bed sheets and mop a spillage right next to her bed. They were more interested in having a laugh at the nurses station than sitting with patients and investigating why they aren't eating properly. She was also discharged without her Warfrin!!! Why become a nurse if you don't care??????!!!!!!
