"Consultant was rude and dismissive"

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust / Neurology

When I first saw the consultant neurologist I mentioned to them that since my original referral that my symptoms had progressed and altered, I brought a list of all the new symptoms and they refused to accept them - their explanation was that they had read the referral and didn't require any further information.

The tests that were performed (Bloods, MRI and EMG) were used to find the the symptoms for the original referral, I was then referred to a psychiatrist who told me that I had no need to see them and my time had been wasted.

This has been going on for over 7 months, meanwhile my pain has increased and my mobility has decreased, I am now on 4 different types of painkillers and have to wait for 9 months to get an appointment with a pain clinic.

The tests they performed for sensation were done incorrectly.

I am disgusted with the way I have been treated and feel at a loss of which way to turn next.
