"After i'd had my first son ..."

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

What I liked

After i'd had my first son i was left on the maternity ward with no support at all. The day after the nurse used my baby to show others how to bath him, so i didnt get the chance to give him his first bath. Also was not told where to get breakfast and i also did not get lunch either, i was glad to be dishcharged at 2 o'clock.

What could be improved

More supprt for new mums starting at hospital.

Parking charges are ridiculous, especially when i needed to go for weekly scans on my baby. So for 20 weeks i paid around £3 each time, you Should not have to pay when your at the hospital so much.

Anything else?

I have had 2 baby's at this hospital and one at north tees, and personaly i think that you get alot better suport at north tees.
